STATEMENT OF EMPOWERMENT:
ACDA recognizes that Art can provoke; therefore, during the course of the conference, participants are empowered to remove themselves from conference activities.

To All Conference Participants:
Just a reminder...The adjudication process is structured to ensure that feedback and the selection process is as objective as possible.

Adjudicators do not know the names of schools or choreographers presenting work in the adjudication concerts. In order to keep the integrity of this ACDA policy and process in tact through the adjudicators’ final decision, it is necessary to ask all conference participants to avoid conversation with adjudicators about the adjudicated dances, the adjudication process, or their comments during the feedback sessionIn addition, please do not discuss your school’s programs or your own work with the adjudicators. Your full cooperation is being requested for the enjoyment of all conference participants, including the adjudicators!

Alex Patrick

Glendale Community College
Faculty, Mem.
L. Alexander Patrick, PhD. relocated to Phoenix, from New Orleans, LA is currently serving in the Department of Social Sciences as residential faculty at Glendale Community College. Prior to and throughout his dancing timeline, he continued to enjoy being a theater performer. Alex began his dance training with the Baton Rouge Ballet a few years ago and has since danced for a number of companies and charities, including, but not limited to the Atlanta Dance Connection, Magnolia Dance Theater, Of Moving Colors, Desert Dance Theater, and is currently dancing as a company member of Convergence Contemporary Ballet, Scorpius Dance Theatre, and CaZo Dance Company, and as a guest artist for a few other companies in the Phoenix Metro area. He enjoys a large variety of dance styles and is very thankful for all of the amazing and inspirational teachers, dancers, choreographers, family, and everyone who has supported and nurtured his talents over the past years.
